Artist Statement
Hattie Hambridge is a lens based artist working with alternative processes to explore themes around womanhood, the natural world, memory, and perception of time. Her practice involves combining traditional photographic techniques with contemporary themes, and reworking analogue imagery into animation. Hattie’s work celebrates slow processes as well as the tactile and experimental nature of hand-printing and working with alternative approaches to image making.
Hattie currently works as a freelance photographer whilst developing her own personal projects along the way.
